AUS vs NZ 3rd ODI Match Preview, Key Players, Cricket Exchange Fantasy Tips

The mighty Australians have sealed another ODI series win, this time at the expense of their arch-rivals New Zealand. 

The Men in Yellow kicked off the series campaign with a two-wicket victory over Black Caps and followed it by another all-around team effort, exploiting New Zealand by 113 runs in the second ODI to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

Heading into the final ODI, Australia will be keen to inflict a clean sweep against the Kane Williamson-led side and give an astounding farewell to their captain Aaron Finch, who will be playing the last ODI of his career.  

As for New Zealand, they have already conceded the series and will look to salvage some pride by winning the last game of the series. Overall, with the two of the best teams locking horns with each other, a cracking 50-over game beckons at Cairns.

Injury Update

Australia will be without the services of David Warner and Marcus Stoinis for the final one-dayer against New Zealand. While Warner has been given rest, the fast bowling all-rounder was ruled out of the series due to a side strain. 

Key Players

• Alex Carey currently leads the batting chart with 97 runs from two matches. He played a flamboyant knock of 85 runs from just 99 balls in the series opener to help Australia reach the target comfortably. 
• Cameron Green missed the second ODI but given both Warner and Stoinis' unavailability, he might be slotted into Australia's playing XI again. He smacked unbeaten 89 runs from 92 deliveries in the opening match of the series.
• Trent Boult has led the New Zealand pace bowling attack with aplomb, picking up eight wickets in two matches at an economy of 3.90. He is currently leading the wicket-taking charts.
• Adam Zampa has grabbed six wickets in the series, including a five-wicket haul in his last match. The leg-spinner is currently the second leading wicket-taker in the series.
