PAK vs HK: Babar Azam completes 2700 T20I runs

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has completed 2700 runs in T20 internationals. Babar achieved this phenomenal feat during Pakistan's ongoing Asia Cup encounter against Hong Kong. 

After making his T20I debut in 2016, Babar has established himself as Pakistan's leading batter in the format in a really quick time. The Lahore-born is currently Pakistan's highest T20I run-getter and leads the second-best Mohammad Hafeez by a significant margin. Further, he is the sixth overall top run-scorer in the format. 

Unfortunately, Babar had a forgettable outing in the match, as he could manage only nine runs, before being dismissed by the experienced Hong Kong spinner Ehsan Khan. Notably, he got out for just ten runs against arch-rivals India in the first game. His poor run of form is slowly turning to be a matter of concern for Pakistan. Pakistan would need him to fire to ensure their success in the Super Four stage.
