In a remarkable turn of events, experienced Bangladesh keeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim has completed 1500 T20I runs. Rahim achieved this phenomenal feat during Bangladesh's ongoing group stage encounter against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2022. 

Rahim became only the fourth Bangladesh batter after Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal to score 1500 T20I runs. 

Since debuting in 2006, Rahim has established himself as a vital cog of the Tigers' setup in both white-ball formats. The stylish right-handed batter has amassed 13509 runs across formats, helping his side script numerous memorable victories at the highest level. 

However, Rahim had a forgettable outing against Sri Lanka today, as he was dismissed by Chamika Karunaratne for just four runs. 

As of writing, Bangladesh are at 85 for three wickets in 10 overs.
