IND vs HK: Virat Kohli registers joint most 50+ scores in T20Is

In a remarkable turn of events, legendary Indian batter Virat Kohli was seen at his absolute best in India's second Asia Cup encounter against Hong Kong, slamming a fabulous 44-ball 59* with the help of one boundary and three sixes. 

With this fifty, Kohli equalled Rohit Sharma's record for most number of 50+ scores in T20I history. Notably, this was Kohli's 31st T20I fifty, while Rohit has four hundreds and 27 fifties to his name in his 15-year-long T20I career. 

Since debuting in 2008, Kohli has established himself as India's mainstay in both the white-ball formats. The talismanic batter is currently the third highest run-getter in T20Is, with 3402 runs at a stupendous average of 50.77. 

Talking about the game, India posted a mammoth total, courtesy of the blistering half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav. These two stitched a solid partnership of 98 runs for the third wicket, propelling the Men in Blue to 192 runs at the end of 20 overs. 

As of writing, Hong Kong have scored four runs without losing a wicket.
