The St Kitts and Nevis Patriots made a mockery of Jamaica Tallawahs’ 122-run total by hunting it down with four deliveries to spare.

Patriots’ thrilling three-wicket win in the first of the two semi-finals hands them a shot at the inaugural men’s 6IXTY title. They will now face the Trinbago Knight Riders in the final at the Warner Park.

Patriots captain Evin Lewis won the toss and sent the Tallawahs to bat first.

The Tallawahs lost their top three batters, including captain Rovman Powell, within the first three overs of their innings. Fabian Allen did bulk of the scoring thereon, whacking unbeaten 82 runs off just 33 deliveries. His hurricane knocked engineered his side’s total to a daunting 122-4.

In response, Patriots’ opener, Andre ‘Spiceman’ Fletcher took the leather off the new ball, trashing it throughout his 60* off 30 balls. He struck five boundaries and five sixes in the process, and helped his side seal the game as well as a spot for the final.
