The St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will lock horns against Trinbago Knight Riders in Match 9 of the ongoing 6IXTY men’s competition.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will be high on confidence coming into this game after registering their first win of the tournament. Sherfane Rutherford was back amongst runs, scoring a 5-ball 24 to finish the game for the Patriots. With the ball, Carmichael and Jaggesar have three wickets each in the first two games.
The Evin Lewis-led team are now placed fourth in the points table with one win in two games. They have a good opportunity for a top four finish with one game to go.
The Trinbago Knight Riders, on the other hand, lost their first game but came back stronger in their second fixture against Guyana Amazon Warriors. Tion Webster (27 off 22) and Terrance Hinds (23 off 9) were the stars for the Knight Riders with the bat. Captain Ravi Rampaul led from the front, taking 2 for 6 in his two overs and helped his team beat the Warriors by 47 runs
The Knight Riders are now second in the points table with one win in two games they have played. They will be hoping for a better batting effort against the Patriots and end the league stage on a high before the knockouts.
