A sumptuous batting effort, equally backed by a disciplined bowling performance by the bowlers helped Trinbago Knight Riders decimate Guyana Amazon Warriors by 47 runs in the 5th match of the Men's 6ixty.

Asked to bat first, Trinbago Knight Riders piled up 95 for four in their allotted 10 overs. In the second half of the contest, their bowlers wreaked havoc, bowling out the Amazon Warriors for just 48 runs in 8.1 overs.

Chasing the modest total of 95 runs, the Warriors never looked confident enough to score the winning runs as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals to eventually crumble out for 48 runs.

The South African Heinrich Klaasen was the only batter who could touch the two-digit figure for the Guyana Amazon Warriors. The 31-year-old remained unbeaten for 19-ball 25.

Ravi Rampaul and Jayden Seales scalped two wickets each for the Knight Riders. Terrance Hinds and Anderson Phillip also got a brace each.

Terrance Hinds's late blitz propels Trinbago to 95/4

Earlier Trinbago Knight Riders, after putting to bat first, racked up 95 runs for the loss of four wickets, courtesy of Tion Webster and Terrance Hinds's ferocious knocks.

Webster and Tim Seifert (14-ball 11) shared a 46-run stand for the opening wicket before Terrance Hinds blasted 23 off just nine balls to end the innings in style.

While Webster's 27-run knock was studded with 4 boundaries, Hinds struck two fours and as many sixes in his blitzkrieg knock. The hard-hitting Caribbean batter Andre Russell also played a handy cameo of 14 runs and remained unbeaten.

For Guyana Amazon Warriors, Odean Smith got two wickets, followed by Ronsford Beaten and Waqar Salamkheil who embraced a wicket apiece.

Following this victory, Trinbago Knight Riders moved up in the points table to claim the third spot. Guyana Amazon Warriors, on the other hand, have occupied a second-bottom place in the standings with a win from two matches.
