Leach is sure England will make a comeback in the game against South Africa
England left-arm orthodox Jack Leach believes that the home side has 'what it takes to engineer a turnaround in the ongoing Lord's Test even though he admitted that the Ben Stokes-led side has fallen behind in the game.
The Proteas applied stranglehold on their hosts on the 2nd day as brilliant partnerships between openers Dean Elgar and Sarel Erwee and then a counterattacking 72-run-stand between Keshav Maharaj and Marco Jansen helped them eke out a 124-run lead at Stumps' on day 02.
Leach, who looked in great rhythm throughout his 14 overs on the 2nd day, sounded confident that England will wrap up South Africa's innings cheaply on the third morning before taking the game head-on with the bat.
Here's what Jack Leach told Sky Sports:
"I know that we are behind in the game but I know that we have what it takes to make a comeback in this game. Our bowling has been good, we will try to get those early wickets in the first session tomorrow. He (Stokes) wants up to keep the attacking approach and we will keep at it,"
