However, Lynn, who snubbed the upcoming Big Bash League, has not received a no-objection certificate (NOC) from Cricket Australia, putting his participation in jeopardy.

ILT20 is scheduled to begin sometime in January 2023.

According to Cricbuzz, a CA spokesperson has maintained that Lynn has not sought any NOC from the board.

"CA's position is that we have not received any NOC requests and we are already aware he has signed with (the) UAE (league). Cricket Australia has yet to receive a request for a no objection certificate relating to any player's participation in overseas leagues this upcoming season."

Working on NOC: Gulf Giants

Adani Sportsline Management, who owns the Gulf Giants, are confident of resolving the issue between CA and the player.

"We are working on his NOC. Hopefully, we will be able to manage something."

Lynn's T20 record

Lynn is a household name in the BBL playing for the Brisbane Heat. In 102 BBL matches for the Heat, the Queensland-born has scored 3,005 runs, including one hundred and 24 fifties.

He has also smacked the most number of sixes (180) in the history of the BBL.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), the 32-year-old has played for Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
