Zimbabwe’s star all-rounder Ryan Burl has said that his side is ready to face the KL Rahul-led Indian team in the upcoming ODI series.

Burl recently starred in Zimbabwe’s ODI and T20I series wins over Bangladesh at home. In one of the T20Is, the cricketer took Bangladesh spinner Nasum Ahmed to cleaners by picking 34 runs off his single over.

During an interview with Hindustan Times Burl stated that his team will be keeping things simple because they have been accustomed with their home conditions. 

“Just bowl our best balls (to their batters), say a few prayers. Just keep it as simple as possible, we are obviously playing at home, so we obviously know the conditions better. We've got our gameplans and match-ups and on the day we've gotta get out there and perform well.”

Earlier this month, the Zimbabwe Cricket Board unveiled their 17-player squad for the series against India. Chakabva Regis is set to lead while Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burl remains the main drawcards of the side because of their recent form. Here is a look at their expanded squadron for India ODIs.
