Former New Zealand cricketer Ross Taylor has made some serious allegation on former Rajasthan Royals owner in his autobiography, which was released this past week.

Taylor who was a part of the Royals in the 2011 edition of the Indian Premier League, wrote about the incident which happened after the game against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali.

Taylor wrote in his autobiography

"Rajasthan played Kings XI Punjab in Mohali. The chase was 195, I was lbw for a duck and we didn't get close. Afterwards, the team, support staff and management were in the bar on the top floor of the hotel. Liz Hurley was there with Warnie,"

"One of the Royals owners said to me, 'Ross, we didn't pay you a million dollars to get a duck' and slapped me across the face three or four times!"

Describing the incident, Taylor wrote that the environment in the bar at the moment was normal as people were having fun, but he was surprised with the incident as he did not expect that sort of behaviour from any person at any sporting organisation.

While it was all fun and banter, the player wasn't assured that it was all "acting". Taylor was part of the Royals for a single season and then went on to respresent the Delhi Capitals formerly known as Delhi Daredevils, followed by the now defunct Pune Warriors India.
