Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo headline latest ILT20 signing

UAE-based International League T20 (ILT20) on Thursday (11 August) announced that the West Indies T20 stars Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo have signed on to compete in the tournament. 

Along with them, the other international signings are Nicholas Pooran, Dasun Shanaka, Ollie Pope and Fazalhaq Farooqi, who have confirmed their participation for the inaugural season of ILT20. 

Furthermore, Will Smeed, Rehan Ahmed, Jordan Thompson, Sheldon Cottrell, Andre Fletcher, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Bas de Leede, Chris Benjamin and Bilal Khan are the newest additions.

The coveted tournament will take place in January next year and has already witnessed huge interest from the players.

Franchises to soon commence the acquisition of players

ILT20 has informed that the six franchise owners Reliance Industries, Kolkata Knight Riders, Capri Global, GMR, Lancer Capital, and Adani Sportsline will begin using the directly acquire players option to offer contracts to the respective players. 

On Monday, ILT20 released the first set of players, who signed-on for the competition, including the likes of Andre Russell, Wanindu Hasaranga, Moeen Ali and Sunil Narine. 

Each team will consists of 18 players, with two from Associate countries and four from the UAE.
