Northern Superchargers have roped in right-arm fast bowler Craig Miles as a temporary replacement for Matthew Potts in The Hundred 2022. Potts has joined the England squad for the three-match Test series against South Africa, which is set to begin on 17 August at Lord's.

Miles has joined the Superchargers squad and will be available for the team's next fixture against Oval Invincibles on Thursday (11 August). He is expected to remain with the team for at least five matches.

Superchargers have featured in two games in The Hundred 2022 and tasted success in one of them and sit at the sixth position in the points table.

Craig Miles Domestic career

Miles made his first-class and List-A debut in 2011 for Gloucestershire. Two years later, the skillful fast bowler set foot in the T20s as well.

Ahead of the 2019 season, the 28-year-old joined Warwickshire. He then helped the team to lift the County Championship title in 2021 by picking 37 wickets in 11 matches.

In the 2022 edition of the T20 Blast, Miles scalped 16 wickets in 14 appearances.

To date, Miles has picked 46 wickets in 41 matches of the shortest format. Certainly, he will hold the key for the Superchargers due to his experience and track record.
