PAK vs ENG: PCB announces historic England series in September

On Tuesday (August 2), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the seven-match T20I series against England to be played in Karachi and Lahore. It will be the first visit of the English team to Pakistan after 17 years.

The National Stadium, Karachi will host the first four T20Is. Then the venue for the rest three games will be Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore.  The series will be played from 20 September to 3 October, ahead of the T20 World Cup.

Apart from this series, PCB also set forth the tentative months for hosting New Zealand and West Indies. Furthermore, they will host the 50-over Asia Cup as well.

PAK vs ENG: PCB Director expresses his happiness

"We are absolutely delighted to confirm hosting England for seven T20Is in Karachi and Lahore as a curtain-raiser to a busy, entertaining and exciting season of home internationals. England is one of the top-ranked T20I teams and them playing the shortest format in the lead up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Pakistan will not only help the team management to finalise their preparations, but will also set the tone for December’s three-Test series," said the PCB Director Zakir Khan.
