We have reached the knockout stages of the Women's Big Bash League competition and it has been a fascinating ride for the spectators.
After a roller-coaster ride, we finally have the official Team of the Tournament.
To no one's surprise, Aussie batting star Beth Mooney keeps her spot at the top of the order for fourth successive season. Mooney, became the first player in WBBL history to surpass the 4000 run mark in the competition. She had yet another stellar season, scoring 434 runs to take the Golden Bat.
The 28-year-old will open alongside Heat's Georgia Redmayne, who will don the gloves after having a record-breaking 11 dismissals behind the stumps.
The recently appointed vice-captain of the Australian women's side, Alyssa Healy, who returned to form in the ongoing tournament will bat at number 3.
The power-packed middle order is filled with quality players like Ashleigh Gardner, who finished the campaign with 23 wickets, and also hammered 339 runs in the season.
Gardner will be accompanied by Annabel Sutherland who stood out for the Stars, scoring 304 runs and picking up 21 wickets.
Erin Burns follows Sutherland. The all-rounder finished the campaign with 294 runs, at an astonishing strike-rate of 147.
Keeping her place at number 7 is White Ferns' Amelia Kerr. The New Zealand star scored 243 runs, and grabbed 19 wickets for the Heat.
Her captain, Jess Jonassen takes her place at number 8, having picked up 20 wickets in a stellar season.
Strikers leg spinner, Amanda-Jade Wellington also gets a place in the side, having equalled her own record of the best bowling figures in a WBBL innings (5 for 8).
That record was shattered by Megan Schutt, as she scalped 6 for 19 against the Thunder. She also gets a nod in the Team of the season.
The final place in the side goes to Nicola Hancock, who claimed 22 wickets in the season.
