Pakistan Women will square off against the West Indies Women in the 16th match of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023 on Sunday, February 19 at Boland Park, Paarl.
It was not a promising start for Pakistan Women as they lost their first game against their arch-rivals, India, but managed to come back stronger in their second game, beating Ireland convincingly by 70 runs to open their account. They are currently placed third in Group A points table with two points and will be keen to keep the winning momentum going in order to keep themselves alive in the knockout race.
West Indies Women, on the other hand, had a disappointing start to the tournament, losing both of their first two games without even showing a fight.
However, they are coming on the back of their first win of the tournament in their last game, beating Ireland Women by six wickets. They are now placed fourth in the Group A points table and are unlikely to have a chance to go further to the knockouts. They look to continue their winning form in their last group fixture and end their World Cup campaign on a high with a win.
