The Warriorz will be high on confidence after chasing a 179-run target in their last league game against Gujarat Giants to qualify for the WPL 2023 play-offs on Monday. Opting to bat, Giants posted a gigantic total of 178 for 6 with Ashleigh Gardner top-scoring with 60 off 39 balls.

Games like these just before the playoffs can boost any team's morale. Despite the win, Warriorz will be a bit concerned about their bowling. Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad went for plenty in the last match. Against a strong batting line-up of Capitals, Warriorz bowlers in particular will have to bring their A-game.
Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals leapfrogged Mumbai Indians to go to the top of the points table. The victory couldn't be as convincing as this one for the Capitals considering that they were up against the invincible Mumbai Indians team.
Bowling first, Capitals bowlers kept things tight and were rewarded with wickets. The bowlers put out a remarkable performance to restrict Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians to a below-par total of 109/8 in 20 overs. Marizanne Kapp (2/13), Shikha Pandey (2/21), and Jess Jonassen (2/25) picked up 2 wickets apiece to dismantle Mumbai's strong batting line-up.
Chasing an easy target, skipper Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma added 56 runs for the opening wicket and then Alice Capsey did the rest with a quickfire 38 as Capitals chased down the target with 66 balls and 9 wickets to spare. It was a clinical performance by Meg Lanning and her team. DC's batting has always been their strength but skipper Lanning would be pleased to see how her bowlers fared against the top-class MI batting line-up.
