India became the first team to reach the final of the Champions Trophy on Tuesday and now they await the winner of the second semi-finals as South Africa take on New Zealand in a riveting battle at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The two sides have had great battles over the years and will look to play another classic on Wednesday.
New Zealand finished second in the group as India defeated them to stay at the top. The Kiwis are one of the strongest units in the competition and will be looking to forget that loss as they take on the mighty Proteas, who defeated Afghanistan and England to reach the Champions Trophy semis.
However, it is to be noted that Gaddafi Stadium Lahore witnessed plenty of rain in the previous two matches and the big question is, will it be the spoilsport once again in the semi-finale 2?.

For a change, the rain god looks to have some mercy towards the fans in Lahore as the temperature will be around 17 degrees and there is no sign of rain as it will be pleasant with abundant sunshine.
The wind speed will be 35km/h, and the best part is that unlike the previous two matches at this venue, there will be no cloud cover, meaning the entire game will be played with ease.
SA-NZ looking to win their second Champions Trophy
Both South Africa and New Zealand will be aiming to win their second Champions Trophy title in this campaign. The Proteas won the 1998 edition when it was called the ICC Knockout Trophy, and the Kiwis won the following edition in 2000 by defeating India in the finals.
