The much-awaited World Test Championship Final between India and Australia scheduled for June 7 at the Kennington Oval in London is just a sleep away. Both teams have faced challenges along the way but have managed to reach the final. They now have the opportunity to become the first nation in history to win all four ICC trophies. However, the weather in England, which is known for its unpredictability, could play a significant role in determining the outcome of the match.

Indian wicketkeeper, Dinesh Karthik, who is currently in London, shared pictures of the pitch from The Oval ahead of the WTC Finals:

Let's take a look at the weather conditions expected in London during the summit clash.

Weather at The Oval, London ahead of Ind vs Aus WTC Finals:

In the UK, the summer season begins in June, and the average daily temperatures range from 18 to 21 degrees Celsius. These warmer temperatures increase the chances of having a dry pitch, which is favourable for spinners. However, if the weather suddenly changes and becomes cloudy and gloomy, there may be opportunities for the quicker bowlers to find green patches and wetness on the pitch.

Fortunately, the weather forecast for June 7-12, which includes the WTC final, appears to be better than most days. The only gloomy day is June 7th, the first day of the final, with clouds in the forecast. However, there is no prediction of precipitation on that day. The second and third days will be colder and rain could play a spoilsport.

Throughout the five days of the final, there will be a gentle breeze to assist swing bowlers in troubling the batsmen.
