• Virat Kohli has scored 620 runs in 15 knockout matches at an average of 51.66.

• With a big innings, he can surpass legends Sachin Tendulkar (657 runs in 14 matches) and Ricky Ponting (731 runs in 18 matches) to become the player with most runs in ICC knockout matches.

2. Most Runs Against a Bowler in Test cricket

• Cheteshwar Pujara currently holds the record with 570 runs against Nathan Lyon.

• Virat Kohli sits in fourth place with 511 runs against Lyon, but a massive score can elevate him above Steve Smith (520 runs vs Stuart Broad) and Kumar Sangakkara (531 runs vs Saeed Ajmal).

3. Most Runs by an Indian Batsman in England in International Cricket

• Rahul Dravid leads with 2,645 runs, followed by Sachin Tendulkar with 2,626 runs.

• Sachin Tendulkar holds the record with 11 Test centuries against Australia.

• Kohli has eight centuries to his name, same as the legendary Sunil Gavaskar. The 34-year-old can move into second place with a century in the WTC final.

8. Most Prolific Indian Centurion in SENA Countries by the Age of 34

• By the age of 34, Sachin Tendulkar had hit 22 centuries in SENA countries.

• Kohli is currently at 21 and needs one more century to equal Sachin's record and two consecutive centuries to surpass him.

• Kohli has 75 international centuries and can reach the 76th ton in just 555 innings, faster than Sachin Tendulkar's 587 innings.

• Kohli is currently tied at eight centuries in India-Australia Tests alongside Ricky Ponting Steve Smith, and Sunil Gavaskar. He can go past them and occupy the second spot in the list.
