Chances of washout slim amidst New Zealand's indifferent run in World Cup

According to AccuWeather, the temperature at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo will hover in the late 20s to 30. The precipitation chances are maximum around 7 PM, and rain is likely to halt the proceedings again around that time, even if the game resumes before that.

The humidity will move from 75 to the early 80s, but the rain is not likely to wash out the game completely, with the precipitation chances decreasing. However, the conditions will be overcast throughout the game, and thus the batters are likely to find it tough.

However, if the game gets washed out, it will be a big blow to New Zealand. The White Ferns have won just one game so far, and they have one washed-out game against Sri Lanka.  So, if they lose another point against Pakistan due to rain, their qualification for the semifinal would be in more danger.

So, the White Ferns fans would be hoping that they get a match in Premadasa after the washout against Sri Lanka. Pakistan Women too have been troubled by rain, they were in a strong position against England in the last match but rain played spoilsport. Therefore, they also be itching to get a full game and prove a point by winning the game against a strong team like New Zealand.
