Just not in the digital aspect, the match has become the highest-rated league stage match in the tournament's history in terms of TV viewership.

In a statement, ICC said, “A reach of 28.4 million and 1.87 billion minutes consumed, making it the most-watched women's international cricket match of all time.”

Sunday was interesting as the Indian fans witnessed a drama in the field, as the India Women faced the Pakistan Women in their second group stage clash. Batting first, the Indian lineup struggled against some fiery Pakistani bowling, but the Women in Blue fought back brilliantly to post a formidable total of 247 runs.

Chasing down the total, the rivals faced the real heat of the Indian bowling lineup. With Kranti Gaud and Deepti Sharma’s dominance and Sneh Rana’s unreal control, they restricted Pakistan to 159 runs and registered a thrilling 88 run victory.
