It is the 50th match of the grandest Indian Premier League (IPL) where two powerhouses Delhi Capitals (DC) will clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. After nine matches each, Capitals are last placed on the table with six points whereas the Royal Challengers hold the fifth spot with as many as 10 points to their name.
Previously, when these two sides met in Chinnaswamy, the Bangalore-based side defeated their nemesis by 23 runs.

After a close victory against Gujarat, Delhi will be high on confidence considering they defended a low total against the likes of Rahul Tewatia and Hardik Pandya, courtesy of veteran Ishant Sharma.
Skipper David Warner would raring to go with the bat as previously he lost his wicket after being involved in a runout. His form has been decent and there is no doubt that he can bulk of runs again for his side but the batters need to step up now and take the responsibility to take their team to a good total.
The bowling looks more or less sorted with Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed and Anrich Nortje getting the better of opposition. Also, the inclusion of Mitchell Marsh in the setup would give them the much needed confidence.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
The 'sweet' win over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has given RCB the boost they needed to progress further in the tournament as their team is full of energy. The batting trio of Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis who have the taken the honours to score the most runs for their side.
But when they fail, it's a bad day as the middle-order hasn't been able to live upto their expectations. Their bowling, however, has delivered on most occasions challenging the opposition on flattest of wickets with Mohammed Siraj doing the most damage in the powerplay.
Karn Sharma's form has been a positive but what is the biggest plus point is the return of the world's best Josh Hazlewood.
