In the SA20 2025 match between Durban Super Giants and MI Cape Town at the Kingsmead Stadium has been delayed because of rain. The Super Giants, won the toss and opted to field first. The match resumed on time, but rain kicked in when the Cape Town were batting at 69/3 after 11 overs. 

At present, play looks unlikely as a dark cloud threat play and umpires are on the field with their umbrellas on. It is to be seen whether rain will result into reduced overs. The ongoing SA20 2025 has been hit with rain on several occasions and several matches have also been abandoned by the rain.By the looks of it, the ongoing match is also likely to be headed for an abandoned match.

Thus, the fans would hope for the rain to go away and also take the cloud cover along with it to let the game resume.

It is worth noting that already DSG's match against Pretoria Capitals was abandoned because of rain. If the ongoing match gets abandoned, then the Giants will get two more points and remain last on the table. Meanwhile, not having a game is also not a good news for MI Cape Town as they will have 16 points in six matches.
