Soumya Sarkar for Bangladesh [Source: @MidnightMusinng/x.com]
West Indies and Bangladesh are taking on each other in the third and T20I match at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstwon, West Indies. The match bears little significance to the result of the series as Bangladesh have already sealed the deal with wins in the first two games.
During the toss of the third T20I, Bangladesh won the coin flip and decided to bat first. The visitors made only a single change for this match from their side in the last game. Soumya Sarkar is not a part of this match and Parvez Hossain Emon has replaced him.
Reason Behind Resting Soumya Sarkar
Soumya Sarkar injured his right index finger during the second T20I match of the series. As a result the batter is not able to take part in this game.
Notably, Soumya Sarkar did a good job with the bat in the first match of the series. He played a steady knock of 43 runs from 32 deliveries and played a major role in setting up the stage for a Bangladesh win. However, in the second game, he failed to deliver and could only manage 11 runs from 18 deliveries.
Debutants For West Indies
As far as changes are concerned, West Indies have also made two in their side. They have rested Akeal Hosein and Andre Fletcher. Justin Greaves and Jayden Seales have replaced them. Incidentally it will be the debut T20I match for both these players.
