In a significant development, Mumbai Indians (MI) have won the toss and opted to bowl first in their seventh group-stage match of the IPL 2025 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). At toss, MI captain Hardik Pandya stated that his side would bowl first, considering the nature of the surface.

When Will Arjun Tendulkar Get A Game For MI?

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians haven't given a single opportunity to promising fast bowler Arjun Tendulkar in the IPL 2025 so far. Notably, Tendulkar, who had a base price of INR 30 lakhs, was purchased by the MI franchise in the mega auction last year.

However, he has yet to play a match for MI, with the five-time champions preferring scouted local players- Vignesh Puthur, S Raju and Ashwani Kumar- above him.

It's worth mentioning that MI haven't included Arjun Tendulkar among their impact substitutes vs SRH, with Rohit Sharma, Corbin Bosch, Robin Minz, Ashwani Kumar and Raj Angad Bawa filling up the five slots.

Added to that, the likes of Deepak Chahar, Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah form MI's fearsome pace battery along with skipper Hardik Pandya. So, ideally, the Mumbai Indians have a formidable bowling core and don't have vacancy in their lineup.

So, currently, it's tough to predict when will MI bring in Arjun Tendulkar to their playing XI. Having said that, the fast bowler might get a chance to showcase his mettle if someone from the first-choice players fails to deliver.
