With the feat, Starc took his wicket tally to 8 in two matches and was presented with the purple cap after the match for being the leading wicket-taker in the tournament. However, in the ongoing match between CSK and RR, Noor Ahmad has again spread his magic and took Sanju Samson's wicket.

With the dismissal, Noor too took his tally to eight wickets in three matches. Now it has left the fans questioning as to which will player will don the purple cap if both the stars end up with 8 wickets after the match.

Well for the unversed, according to IPL rules, the player with better economy rate is the one who gets the purple cap. In this scenario, Mitchell Starc has bowled with an economy of 10.04.

Meanwhile, Noor Ahmad has clocked an economy of just 6.40. Thus, if he ends RR vs CSK match with eight wickets, then Noor will have the purple cap.
