Punjab Kings, on the other hand, have blown hot and cold and have four wins and four losses from their 8 games so far. Expect both teams to come out all guns blazing in this crucial encounter.

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Punjab Kings (PBKS) game will be played at CSK's home ground - MA Chidambaram Stadium. It is also known as the Chepauk and CSK have been pretty dominant at this venue with a win percentage of over 70 per cent. They have also won two of their three games in Chepauk this season.

MS Dhoni is not known to make drastic changes in the playing XI and is known to back his players. Punjab Kings have some fearsome hitters of the cricket ball in their line-up but they would be tested at Chepauk in spin-friendly conditions. Shikhar Dhawan was back for them in the last game and he would be crucial against MS Dhoni and in his boys for Punjab.

Also, we can expect Harpreet Brar to be back in the playing XI in place of Gurnoor Brar who had a forgettable debut against LSG in the last game. Rahul Chahar would have a crucial role to play with his leg spin in this game.
