The hopes of fans to see England cross swords with Pakistan might be spilled over once again as the rain threat looms at large at The Oval. With two games i.e. 1st and 3rd T20I already marred by rain, there are strong chances that rain and thunderstorms will likely interrupt the play.

England has taken an unassailable lead and would be declared as the winners if rain takes over and Pakistan does not manage to level the series.

In the last completed game between the two at Edgbaston, England clinched a 23-run victory over the visitors. A good comeback game for Jofra Archer and Reece Topley's 3/41 helped England get over the line. The Men In Green failed to get a hold of themselves right from the start and this resulted in a loss.

Let's take a look at the weather report for the 4th T20I between the two:

As per the weather predictions, there are 25% rain chances at 11 AM that intensifies to 70% at 4 in the afternoon. The rain is expected to continue till 8-9 PM, thereby increasing the chances of the game being abandoned.

The temperature is expected to be somewhere between 17°C to 10°C, with thundery showers accompanied by a gentle breeze. While it will remain partly sunny, clouds are expected to cover the sky all through the day.

All these signs indicate, that it is highly likely that rain would play spoilsport once again.
