After waiting for a long time, Virat Kohli's passionate fans finally got a chance to witness their favourite cricketer's entry into the middle in the ongoing Ranji Trophy encounter between Delhi and Railways at Arun Jaitley Stadium. The talismanic cricketer entered the middle as Delhi's number four after the fall of Yash Dhull, who managed 32 runs off 69 deliveries.

The incident occurred during the 24th over of Delhi's first innings when Railways desperately needed someone to break the partnership between Sanat Sangwan and Yash Dhull. Railways captain's decision to introduce Rahul Sharma into the attack paid rich dividends for the visitors, as the medium pacer got Dhull's prized scalp at a crucial juncture. 

As soon as Dhull made his way back to the dugout, legendary batter Virat Kohli entered the middle, mesmerising fans with his swagger. As the walked into the playing area, fans cheered for the Indian batting great, giving him a hero's welcome. 

Virat Kohli Fails On Ranji Trophy Comeback

However, Kohli failed to showcase his class and elegance on his Ranji Trophy comeback, as Railways' premier pacer Himanshu Sangwan cleaned him up with an absolute ripper. Kohli, who was expected to dominate the proceedings, had to make hi way back to the hut with six runs. As of writing, Delhi were 87 for three in 28 overs, with Sanat Sangwan and Ayush Badoni batting in the middle.
