Virat Kohli signals wide after umpire's mistake (X.com)
Virat Kohli is a man of honour, and his sportsmanship often wins the hearts of many. He comes to support when anyone requires, and sometimes, a few small gestures which he has made in the past, has helped him to become where he currently stands.
A similar gesture was done by him on Saturday (May 4) when Dinesh Karthik took a DRS during the seventh over of Gujarat Titans' innings.
It all happened when Vijaykumar Vyshak bowled a length delivery going down the leg side to David Miller. The South African tried to glance it away but missed it altogether. Yet, Dinesh Karthik, just after completing a wonderful dive to take the catch, went for a caught behind appeal.
Faf du Plessis, who won the toss earlier, was convinced by DK’s confidence and signalled T. And the replay showed there was no bat involved, making it a clear-cut wide. However, the on-field umpires forgot to signal it initially, and Kohli reminded him that by extending his both hands.

Thankfully, the umpire saw what Kohli did and rectified his mistake by giving it a wide.
