Team India got the early breakthrough in the second Australian innings on Day 3 of the WTC Final. Mohammed Siraj induced a thick edge off David Warner, which KS Bharat safely pouched from behind the stumps.

However, the Indian team still finds itself in troubled waters, courtesy of the 173-run first innings advantage Australian gained earlier in the day. While Rohit Sharma and co. face an uphill task to make a comeback in the crucial Test, Virat Kohli was seen urging the crowd to cheer for Team India upon Warner’s dismissal.

Australia, enjoying a 173-run head start, further stretched their lead past the 200-run mark after Tea.

At the time of publishing, Australia reached 48-2 in 19 overs, with Labuschagne and first-innings centurion Steve Smith batting at the crease.
