Rajat Patidar is one of the most talented batters in Indian cricket circuit and before the IPL 2024, he was touted as one of their main assets. However, after a poor Test series in Indian colours, his batting returns dwindled in the initial part of IPL too which eventually created a problem for RCB. The man is back in form though and in the game against SRH, he smashed four consecutive sixes enroute his 19-ball fifty.

The right-handed batter came into bat at number 4 after the wicket of Will Jacks on the last ball of the seventh over. He got going straightaway though, and provided the impetus to RCB's innings. The four sixes came in the 11th over with Markande tossing it up and Patidar hitting him all over the park.

The first six was hammered over long off and on the next ball he launched another straight six leaving everyone on the ground awestruck. On the following delivery, he unleashed a mighty heave to hit it way over deep mid-wicket. The final ball was bowled outside off and Patidar went over extra cover this time to make it 27 runs in the over.
