India is on the brink of a heady defeat in the second Test at the Adelaide cricket ground. After a defeat in the first match, the home team bounced back strongly in this game and has nearly sealed off the game.

After dismissing India for a low total of 180 in the first innings, Australia posted 337 and took a massive lead of 157. While Australia put in a total team effort while batting, it was an outstanding knock by Travis Head that put India out of the game.

Tension Between Siraj And Head Started With The Fiery Send Off By The Bowler

The Aussie southpaw scored 140 runs off 141 deliveries and thrashed the Indian bowlers to all-parts of the gorund. He hit 17 boundaries and four sixes during is knock. Head was ultimately dismissed by Mohammed Siraj. As the Indian bowler got the better of Head, he looked fired up and seen gesturing the batter to leave the field.

There were plenty of talks going around the incident. While Siraj stated that Head abused him, the Aussie star claimed that he just told Siraj 'Well Bowled'. The tension between two players could be felt in the air and it become more evident when Head decided to get under the skin of Siraj, when the later walked into bat.

Travis Head Persists On Continuing The Sledging War

Mohammed Siraj contributed seven runs off eight balls during his time in the middle in the second innings. During this short stay, it was seen that Travis Head, who was standing at forward short leg was persistent on continuing the sledge war. The two players were seen engaging in a verbal spat. Later, Travis Head was the one who caught Siraj, as his stay in the middle was cut short by Scott Boland.
