Titas Sadhu, one of the most promising youngsters in Indian women's cricket, wreaked havoc in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 on Friday (March 8) at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
Coming to bowl the second over of the innings, Titas Sadhu bowled a length delivery to Kiran Navgire, who has been in sublime form lately. The ball came back in sharply, and Navgire, who had just hit a boundary against her, went for a wild slog to be bamboozled completely.
The ball was nowhere near the bat, and it went on to shatter the stumps.

Sadhu, 19, was all smiles after the wicket, whereas Kiran Navgire’s short stay ended, as she fell for a paltry five-ball five.

It was an excellent delivery by Sadhu, who got her first wicket of the competition against Mumbai Indians, and the victim was none other than New Zealand star all-rounder Amelia Kerr.
As of writing, UP Warriorz, after opting to bat, have reached 64/3 n 10.2 overs, with Deepti Sharma and Grace Harris in the middle, on 22* and 2* respectively. They need to win it in order to stay in the playoffs race.
