Fast bowlers like to hit the top of off stump, and Bangladesh's express fast bowler Tanzim Hasan Sakib did exactly that on Monday during their T20 World Cup 2024 clash against South Africa. 

More significantly, it was South Africa's ace batsman Quinton de Kock, who was at the receiving end before eventually getting bamboozled.

De Kock, who fell for a diamond duck in South Africa’s previous fixture, started brilliantly. However, his quickfire knock did not last long, as Tanzim came round the wicket to rattle him.

The South African opener went for a pull, but the shot was never on to tackle that delivery before it went on to castle him.

At the time of writing this, South Africa are in tatters, slipping to 24/4 after 4.5 overs, Tanzim taking 3/13 off 2.5 overs. Taskin Ahmed took the other wicket, as David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen are on a mission to rebuild the innings.

Needless to say, de Kock's 11-ball 18 is still the highest individual score by a South African in this innings, as Bangladesh are all over them in New York.
