Bangladesh's decision to bat first after winning the toss, in what's a must-win game for them, seemed to have set the stage for a massive total. Captain Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim further boosted the score with their fiery cameos.

The Afghanistan team already battling with the challenge of chasing a record total now faces the added pressure of making up for the loss of their key batter.

The match is surely set for more drama as Afghanistan's batting line-up seeks to overcome the challenge and keep their campaign alive in the tournament. 

At the time of writing this article, Afghanistan have steadied their innings at 92/2 after 22 overs. Ibrahim Zadran has scored a fighting fifty and is currently batting on 52 whereas captain Hashmatullah Shahidi has just come to the crease and is unbeaten on three.
