In Match 4 of the Champions T20 Cup 2024/25, Malik showed why age is no barrier to class with a sensational pull shot. It was the last ball of the 13th over. Shahid Aziz ran in hard and dug one short into the pitch but Malik wasn’t fazed.

He spotted the length early, stood tall, and smashed a cracking pull shot to deep mid-wicket. The ball flew to the boundary in no time and left everyone in awe. 

The sheer authority of the shot was reminiscent of Rohit Sharma’s signature pull—pure, unadulterated dominance. Malik’s shot had the crowd on their feet, cheering for the legend who keeps proving he’s still got it.


A Classy Knock From Malik

Shoaib Malik didn’t stop there. His 39 off 30 balls, including four elegant boundaries, was a vital knock for the Stallions. Batting alongside Hussain Talat, who scored a solid 51, Malik ensured the team posted a competitive 162/5 in their 20 overs. Even though Musa Khan eventually got him, Malik had already played his part.

Meanwhile, as the Lions began their chase, they were off to a steady start. Imam-ul-Haq and Hasan Nawaz are holding the fort at 58/1 after 6.2 overs. Zeeshan Malik fell for a duck early, but the Lions still have firepower to make this a cracking game.
