Shoaib Malik is the oldest players in PSL 2024 but is still going strong with consistent performances both with the bat and ball. In the 22nd match of the 9th edition, he once again showed his all-round skills with an unbeaten 27 with the bat and four economical overs with the ball. He finished off Karachi's chase with a six as well, bringing back memories of MS Dhoni who had the habit to finish game with a six.

Karachi Kings won the game by seven wickets with 27 balls to spare and Malik slammed the winning six on the third delivery of the 16th over. It was a tossed up delivery from Usman Tariq and Malik danced down the track to smash it over wide long on for a maximum.

Karachi Kings were chasing quite an easy target of 119 as their bowlers did a brilliant job to bowled out Quetta Gladiators for 118. Hasan Ali was the star of the show with the ball as he picked four wickets and it was a much-needed win for Karachi Kings who have not been at their best in PSL 2024.
