In the ongoing 2nd T20I between South Africa and Pakistan at the Supersport Park in Centurion, Saim Ayub has hogged the internet with his blistering knock. It was a special knock from the southpaw as he brought up his maiden fifty in the shortest format of the game. 

Pakistan lost an early wicket, but Ayub kept his aggressive intent right from the first ball and went all guns blazing as soon as he entered the pitch. Despite regular wickets from the other end, Ayub kept striking the ball to help Pakistan post a big total on the board.

Talking about Ayub, at the time of writing this article, Pakistan put 205 runs on the board and Ayub was left stranded on 98 , which featured 11 fours and five sixes. Ayub has made a name for himself to hit sixes. He also hogged the net when he whacked one for a no-look shot. 

On the 3rd ball of the 9th over, Ferreira bowled a fuller delivery that Ayub despatched for a slog sweep without even looking at the shot.

It is not the first time that Ayub has displayed his class with the bat and played a no-look shot. He also played one against Mitchell Starc during Pakistan's 2nd ODI against Australia away from home. 

It is a career defining knock for Ayub as he was under the scanner before this match because of lack of fifty-plus score in T20Is. Nonetheless, he has silenced the critics with this knock.
