Fans were excited to watch their childhood idol, Sachin Tendulkar make a comeback on a cricket field, however, the Master Blaster couldn't delight the fans and was dismissed cheaply in the International Masters League match Vs Sri Lanka. He went for a reckless shot and the stumps were shattered.

Sachin's comeback ends in dismay

India Masters collided with Sri Lanka Masters and all eyes were on Tendulkar who was making his return after a brief period. The former India cricketer has played quite a lot of cricket after his retirement in 2013, but he always generates buzz whenever he is on the field.

The master batter started with flurry of boundaries as he targeted left-arm pacer, Isuru Udana and smacked him for gorgeous boundaries. However, he struggled for runs as the ball wasn't connecting with his bat.

The frustration led to his wicket as Suranga Lakmal bowled a length ball which kept low and Sachin Tendulkar was beaten by the low bounce. He went for the pull, but the ball went past him and shattered the stumps. The fans got disappointed as they came to witness a classic knock from the India great.
