When it comes to defining cricket by one word, it should be Sachin Tendulkar. Time and again the greatest batter ever has defied the laws and proved himself to be the supremo of the art called batting.
Currently Sachin Tendulkar is playing the final of the International Masters League against West Indies Masters. The Brian Lara-led team won the toss for the game and opted to bat first. Lendl Simmons ledt the charge with the bat for the team representing West Indies. He scored 57 runs off 41 deliveries and helped his team reach a fighting total of 148/7 at the end of their 20 overs.
Sachin Tendulkar Brought Back 22 Years Old Memories
Sachin walked out to open the innings with Ambati Rayudu. While Rayudu took the attack to the opposition from the first ball of the chase, Tendulkar showed his class and found his way into the knock.
As Sachin got set he brought two of the best shots of the night. On the fifth delivery of the sixth over, Jerome Taylor bowled a shortish delivery at the off stump line. Tendulkar waited for the ball and then played an uppercut over third region for a maximum.
The shot by him reminded the fans of his iconic shot against Pakistan in World Cup 2003. Just as Tendulkar and Sehwag laid the foundation for an Indian win in that game, Rayudu has combined with Sachin to do the same in this match.
