Rajasthan Royals secured a dominant victory against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, extending their winning streak to three matches in IPL 2024. With this win, RR sits comfortably atop the points table with 6 points and a remarkable Net Run Rate of 1.25. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians continue to struggle, suffering their third consecutive defeat, making them the only winless team in the tournament thus far.

In pursuit of 126 runs, RR faced some early setbacks but managed to maintain control throughout the chase. Contributions from Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, and skipper Sanju Samson kept the momentum alive. Riyan Parag's composed innings, complemented by Ashwin's support, ensured RR's victory with 27 balls to spare.

MI's batting woes continued as they could only muster 125/9 after being put in to bat. Trent Boult and Nandre Burger rattled MI's top order, reducing them to 20/4. Although Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma staged a brief recovery, Yuzvendra Chahal's crucial breakthroughs derailed MI's innings. Despite a promising partnership between Hardik and Tilak, MI's total proved inadequate against RR's disciplined bowling attack as they became the table-toppers.
