In the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 Semi-finals between India and England, skipper Rohit Sharma played a captain's knock as the 37-year-old scored his second straight fifty.

Rohit scored 57 (39), which featured six fours and two sixes. The hitman was looking good and in an attempt to take down No.1 T20I Bowler Adil Rashid, who rattled Sharma's stumps with a googly.

On the 4th ball of the 14th over, Rohit danced down the wicket to hit Adil for a six but missed the googly and was clean bowled on a peach of a delivery.

Rohit is having a sensational T20 World Cup as he is India's leading run-getter in this edition. Further, Sharma brought up his fifty with a six and that was also his 50th six in T20 World Cup history.

Also, with the wicket, Rashid is now the leading wicket-taker for England in T20 World Cup. He surpassed Stuart Broad for the record.
