When Rishabh Pant bats, everyone sits back and enjoys. The flamboyant wicket-keeper batsman seemed in the mood today (March 31) while captaining Delhi Capitals against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 13 of the IPL 2024 in Visakhapatnam.

After winning the toss and opting to bat, Pant came to bat at No. 3, a position higher than he usually bats. Of course, the move was because of the perfect start which David Warner and Prithvi Shaw gave to Delhi, and the 26-year-old did not disappoint while carrying on the momentum.

In fact, the manner in which he dispatched Ravindra Jadeja during the 13th over of Delhi’s innings spoke volumes, and gave a hint that he is well and truly back.

It was a full delivery by Jadeja around the off stump, which Pant saw it coming. The DC skipper went on one knee and played an audacious slog sweep over deep mid-wicket. The timing was so perfect that the ball sailed way over the boundary ropes for six.
