Delhi Capitals explosive opener showcased his power-hitting prowess by smashing Deepak Chahar for consecutive boundaries in the 13th match of IPL 2024. Choosing to bat first at Visakhapatnam, Warner's intent was evident from the outset, particularly when he faced Chahar in the fifth over of the match.

Chahar, the Chennai Super Kings' bowler, found himself under immense pressure as Warner unleashed a flurry of aggressive strokes. With his third delivery of the over, Chahar erred in length, allowing Warner to dispatch the ball over long leg for a towering six. 

This was followed by a full toss outside off stump, which Warner expertly drove through extra cover for another boundary.

Not content with just one boundary, Warner continued his assault on Chahar by cutting a short delivery over point for yet another four. The onslaught left Deepak Chahar rattled and struggling to find his rhythm as Warner effortlessly manipulated the field placements with his precision hitting.

The climax of this brief but explosive encounter came when Chahar delivered an off-cutter down leg side, only for Warner to kneel down and dispatch the ball over short fine leg for a magnificent six. 

Warner's calculated aggression and impeccable timing left spectators in awe as he toyed with Chahar's bowling, leaving the Chennai Super Kings' camp searching for answers.
