Rilee Rossouw is known for his ability to get the ball rolling as soon as he enters the field and in the 25th match of CPL 2024 between St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders, the South African showed all those elements in his brief stay. Rossouw scored 20 off 11 balls and hit four boundaries in his knock.

One of those boundaries was an unorthodox scoop shot against Jayden Seales that left everyone stunned and brought back memories of Rishabh Pant's scoop shots. It was the first delivery of the 14th over and Seales bowled it on a fullish-length, around off. Rossouw moved across to his left, got low and scooped it over fine leg and also fell on the ground in the process just like Rishabh Pant ends up while playing this kind of shot.

However, Rossouw could not carry on and convert his promising start but his team still managed to get 193 on the board courtesy 93 from Fletcher and 60 off 30 balls from Kyle Mayers.

Pooran's Power-Show Takes TKR To A Thumping Win

In the second half though, Nicholas Pooran stole the limelight with his unbeaten 93 off 43 balls and took Trinbago Knight Riders over the line. The talented wicketkeeper batter smashed six fours and seven sixes in his knock and along with Jason Roy always kept the home team ahead in the run-chase. The game was finished with a six in the 19th over by Pooran, and the win has brought TKR back on track after a loss in the last game.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, on the other hand, have finished their season with just one win in their 10 games, and it was surely a season to forget for Fletcher and company.
