South Africa is taking on Pakistan in the second T20I of the three match series. This match is being played at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. South Africa has been asked to chase down a huge target of 207 runs in the match.
The opener of the South African team, Reeza Hendricks is leading the charge for his team. He has already given the start that the team needed with a brilliant half century.
Earlier in the game, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Saim lead the charge for his team and scored a fluent 98 off 57 deliveries. It was his brilliant batting effort that got Pakistan to the huge total and posed a tough challenge for the home team.
Hendricks Reaches His 50 With A SKY Like Six
In the chase, South Africa lost their opener Ryan Rickelton pretty early. However, Rassie van der Dussen joined Hendricks in the middle and the duo propelled the team towards the target. While Dussen mainly played a second fiddle, Hendricks was the aggressor in this partnership.
Reeza Hendricks reached his half-century with a brilliant six. It came off the fifth delivery of the ninth over. It was a back of a good length delivery at the off and middle stump line. Hendricks moved into the line of the ball and scooped it over fine leg region for a maximum.
The South African opener reached his half century of just 29 deliveries. It took him four fours and five sixes to compose the half-century.
