Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru player Chris Jordan played a crucial cameo for Hobart Hurricanes in their ongoing encounter against Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League. Coming at number seven, Jordan struck a quick-fire 16*-run knock, helping the hosts breach the 160-run mark in this match. 

The famed English cricketer showcased his finishing skills for Hobart Hurricanes, hitting a huge six at a crucial juncture of the match. The incident occurred in the final over of the Hurricanes' innings when Jordan was trying to ensure a fitting finish for his team in the game. 

After conceding a couple of runs on his first delivery, Sydney Sixers' batting all-rounder Jack Edwards tried to deceive Jordan, bowling a slower yorker. However, the English cricketer managed to get underneath the ball and connected it superbly. 

As a result, the ball sailed over the fence for a picturesque six despite the long-on fielder's valiant attempt near the rope. Hailed for his excellent death-bowling skills, Chris Jordan reminded Indian fans of Rishabh Pant, who usually executes such one-handed sixes with perfection. 

Hobart Post 161 On The Board, Sixers Get A Shaky Start

Riding on Mitchell Owen's brisk start and valuable knocks from Ben McDermott and Nikhil Chaudhary, Hobart Hurricanes posted a respectable 161-run total on the board. In response, the Sixers got a disastrous start, losing in-form opener Josh Philippe cheaply. As of writing, the visitors were 16 for one, with James Vince and Kurtis Patterson batting on 10* and 1*, respectively.
