Royal Challengers Bengaluru have got off to a perfect start in match 45 of IPL 2024 against Gujarat Titans with the wicket of Wriddhiman Saha in the very first over. Faf du Plessis made a bold move to start with the spinner and it paid off big time with Swapnil Singh showing his class yet again.

It was the final ball of the first over and Swapnil Singh tossed it up nicely on the off stump line. The ball turned a bit and Saha went for a big drive away from his body. He ended up getting an outside edge though and gave away an easy catch to Karn Sharma at short third man.

It was just the start RCB needed after electing to bowl first and they would be looking to build on this start, and continue to build pressure on Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan who walked out to bat at number 3. 

RCB are coming into this game on the back of a convincing win against Sunrisers Hyderabad while Gujarat Titans lost their last game by 4 runs against Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals.
